ISLAMABAD: The spokesperson for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Raoof Hasan has said that the letter written by Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges is first spell of rain, he raised concerns over past judicial interference in the country’s affairs.

He stated that for the past two years, they have not received justice. Hasan questioned the role of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and criticized the events of February 8th elections, accusing the Chief Election Commissioner of interfering with their seats.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the forceful decisions being imposed on people.

Speaking on the program “Sawal Say Agay” on ABN News, Hassan elaborated on the letter written by the judges, claiming they were not allowed to work.

He attributed this to the influence of the establishment, emphasizing the need to end interference to strengthen democracy.

Hassan clarified that no foul play was involved in the core committee meetings of PTI and asserted their commitment to democratic principles.

Furthermore, Hasan highlighted the massive turnout of voters in the elections, claiming that out of 6 crore voters, 3 crore supported PTI.

He called for a judicial inquiry into the events of May 9th and urged for justice for the innocent. Hasan assured that PTI’s founding principles uphold fairness and justice for all.

Looking ahead, PTI plans to hold a rally in Karachi on April 21st, following the Senate elections.
