RAWALPINDI: Security forces have gunned down seven terrorists on Wednesday who were trying to infiltrate Pakistan-Afghanistan border with nefarious intentions, Inter-Services Press Relations (ISPR) said.
In a statement, the army’s media wing said that on April 16, 2024, in Spankai area of Ghulam Khan district of North Waziristan, the movement of a group of seven terrorists, who attempted to infiltrate from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was detected. It was found out.
The infiltrators were surrounded, effectively engaged and after a fierce exchange of fire, all seven areas were shelled.
A huge number of arms, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.
ISPR said that Pakistan is constantly asking the Afghan government to ensure effective border management towards the border. It is expected that the Interim Afghan Government will fulfill its obligations and deny the use of Afghan territory by terrorists for terrorist activities against Pakistan.

The ISPR added that ‘Pakistan’s security forces are determined and determined to secure its borders and eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country’.
Earlier on April 7, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan district and killed two terrorists.
During the operation, their troops effectively traced the whereabouts of the terrorists, as a result of which two terrorists were sent to hell. Arms, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered from their possession.
