DERA ISMAIL KHAN:(BY MUSTAFA MUGHAL) Two persons were killed including a youth and a woman while three others injured in separate traffic and firing incidents in D I Khan, here on Friday.
A Paharpur Police Official said, an 18-year-old youth named Arsalan Marwat, son of Ghulam Muhammad, a resident of Wanda Muddat had lodged a First Information Report (FIR) in Paharpur Police Station under Sections 279, 337-G and 427 Pakistan Penal Code (ppc) stating that he [Arsalan], Shahid, Sulaiman were going on a motorcycle when Ahsanullah Marwat son of Ghulam Qasim coming from the opposite direction with high speed on motorcycle collided with us and near Mardan bridge, D I Khan.
As a result of the collision, 4 persons were injured including Ahsanullah, Arsalan, Shahid and Sulaiman.
All the injured were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Paharpur, however, Ahsanullah Marwat was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, D I Khan due to critical condition, but he died of his fatal injuries in the hospital.
Second Incident
Meanwhile, a woman was gunned down by a man who broke into her house in Zafarabad Colony within the vicinity of Dera Police Station, police arrested the accused along with the murder weapons.
District Police Spokesman Imtiaz Ali Janjua said a man named Zia-ur-Rehman son of Mureed Kazim, resident of Muriyali, broke into a house in Zafarabad Colony and killed a woman through a pistol.
As soon as the incident was reported, police rushed to the spot and started search operations for the arrest of the accused.
A Police Contingent SHO Dera Town Police Station Mukhtiar Hussain under the leadership of SDPO Saddar Circle Hafiz Muhammad Adnan Khan arrested the accused and seized the murder weapon i.e a 30-bore pistol along with ammunitions.
The Police registered a case against the accused under the section f murder and started further investigations.
Registration of a case
However, a report had been lodged of a case of murder of a married woman over a domestic dispute by the father of the decease against 2 sister-in-laws and husband of the deceased woman.
District Police Spokesman Imtiaz Ali Janjua said, on January 22, 2022 a woman was killed over a domestic dispute Sandeeley Wala area of of Paharpur Police Station.
The father of the deceased woman, 60-year-old Sherzaman Baloch, a resident of Dhhala had lodged a report in Paharpur Police Station under Sections 302-201/34 ppc against the husband of the deceased and her two sister-in-laws.
The father of the deceased said in the report that his son-in-law named Imran Chauhan, son of Hashim, resident of SandeeleuWala and his sisters named Shahnaz Bibi and Najam Bibi tortured and killed his daughter named Sidra Bibi on January 22 , 2022.
“Now I am a claimant against my son-in-law and his sisters for the murder of my daughter by violence”, he said in the report.
The police have registered a case against the victim’s husband and 2 sister-in-laws of the deceased on the claim of the victim’s father.
