KARACHI: Motorola has joined the world’s thinnest smartphone competition with the release of its X70 Air in China, pitting it against its competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge and Apple’s iPhone Air.
Posted on Lenovo’s Chinese website, the X70 Air tips at just 5.99mm thick and weighs in at approximately 159 grams.
For comparison, the iPhone Air is 5.6mm and 165 grams, and Samsung’s S25 Edge is 5.8mm and 163 grams.
The phone is set to arrive overseas within a matter of months, likely as the Motorola Edge 70, a report from tipster Evan Blass claims.
Coming in Gadget Gray, Lily Pad Green, and Bronze Green colors, X70 Air boasts a matte finish and an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance comparable to the level of protection offered by Samsung, Apple, and Google flagship smartphones.
