Talking about it, Shahid Kapoor’s father said, “Our grandfather had a transferable job, so he often moved from one place to another. However, we were told that our family originally belonged to a city in Pakistan — Hafizabad — where the Kapoor family lived together as a joint family. Since we were already living here during the partition, we didn’t face any problems”. He further added that his father was a great writer, a popular speaker and magazine editor at FC College, Lahore, which was combined Indo-Pak college, and the most stylish one.
