RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s government has released instructions for parents who want to do the Umrah with their kids.
The rules were released before to Ramadan, when Muslim families from all over the world flock to conduct Umrah.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has emphasized how important it is to instill respect for the Quran in their children, especially since copies are easily available in the Grand Mosque, where Umrah ceremonies are held.

In addition, parents or guardians are urged to observe their children when using escalators and to make sure they keep quiet while on the property. If needed, they should also advise their children to seek help from security officers.
Approximately 2 million Muslims travel to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj each year, and over 13 million pilgrims come for the Umrah. The monarchy works hard to offer the greatest amenities to the pilgrims from many nations, and one of the most crucial parts of the Hajj is transportation, mainly because it’s a difficult undertaking to arrange the logistics for millions of people each year.
In addition to transportation, the government has enhanced the Nusuk platform for permit issuance and is eager to concentrate on streamlining the visa application process.

In order to make things easier for the nations of the Gulf Cooperation Council, the monarchy has also allowed its nationals to apply for permission to invite friends to visit and conduct Umrah. A single visa platform modeled after the Schengen Visa will soon be implemented.
