Islamabad: Zakat al-Fitr, also known as Sadaqat al-Fitr, is an obligatory charity that Muslims are required to give before Eidul-Fitr. This charity is meant to help the needy enjoy the festivities of Eid. Affluent Muslims, regardless of age, are expected to make this payment.

According to the guidelines provided by IACAD, residents of the UAE have the option to either give Zakat Al Fitr directly to individuals they know in need, or they can choose to make the payment through officially registered organizations.
