Islamabad: Pakistan also issued a statement on Iran-Israel tensions.

According to the private news channel, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that Pakistan is deeply concerned about the situation in the Middle East.

On April 2, Pakistan was informed about the dangers of an attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria. Taking into account that these events have serious effects, the spokesman further said that Pakistan had said to stop hostilities in the region and cease fire in Gaza.

Failing to maintain peace and security, there is now an urgent need to stabilize the situation and restore peace. The spokesperson said that all parties should exercise restraint and move towards reducing tension.
