KARACHI: Two passenger buses collided on the Superhighway in Karachi, as a result of which three people, including two girls, were killed and eight were seriously injured.

According to a private news channel report, two passenger buses collided with each other near Jokhia Mor on the Superhighway as the drivers lost control of the vehicles due to rain.

As a result, three people including two girls and eight people were seriously injured.

The injured and the bodies were shifted to Jinnah Hospital. According to initial reports, the identity of the injured could not be revealed.

Some parts of Karachi received light to moderate rain on Sunday morning due to the influence of western wave.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), heavy rains with thunder and lightning will continue till April 15 in Karachi.

Airport, II Chandragarh Road, Saddar, Gulistan Johar, Scheme 33, DHA and other areas of the city received rain.
