KARACHI – A malicious cyberattack on the servers of Pak Suzuki has leaked the official data of the country’s largest car manufacturer.
Suzuki car maker PKMC revealed that its servers were hacked and its corporate data was leaked.
In a stock filing on Monday, the leading automobile company said it witnessed a cyberattack that resulted in the leakage of corporate data, including HR and financial information, on a public IP address.
Pak Suzuki mentions conducting a detailed forensic assessment with a security consultant to address potential security threats in its infrastructure.
This incident comes after Pak Suzuki’s move to delist from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The delisting process began in February 2024, when the company launched a share buyback offer to buy back shares from the market.
