ISLAMABAD – The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) is expected to announce the schedule of this year’ssummer vacations for schools and colleges in the coming days.
Like every year summer vacations are announced for nearly two months in the federal capital, the schools and colleges thatfall under the ambit of theÂfederal authority are expected to observe summer vacations from June 10 to July 31.
However, a final notification in this regard will be issued by the federal government in thecoming days.

Like other cities, Islamabad is also expected to experienceabove-normal temperatures this year due to climate change. The weather forecast forÂnext month shows that the mercury can soar to 41 or 42 in Islamabad, triggering heat waves in the city.
Last year, the federal governmenthad announced summer vacation from June 10,Â2023, to July 31, 2023, with schools reopening on August 1, 2023.
