Islamabad — Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan has issued a forceful warning, urging his party members and supporters to prepare for street protests against what he describes as unprecedented political persecution.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), PTI shared Imran Khan’s message condemning the ongoing suppression of his party. Khan highlighted a series of violent and oppressive measures targeting PTI over the past two years, describing these actions as “collective punishment.” He detailed incidents where PTI members and their families faced trespassing, torture, and the destruction of businesses, noting that even the elderly and children were not spared.
“The heinous attack on Rauf Hassan is particularly instigating and further demonstrates that the powerful are unwilling to accept dissent, preferring cowardly tactics over addressing underlying problems,” Khan stated. He accused the current regime, which he claims was installed by the military establishment, of exacerbating the country’s economic instability by ousting a “performing government.”
Khan reiterated his stance that economic stability is unattainable without political stability, citing the deteriorating economic conditions under the current administration as evidence.

In a call to action, Khan instructed PTI’s central leadership, provincial and local organizations, members, workers, supporters, and the general public to prepare for significant street agitation. “We must now be ready to practically struggle against this fascist mafia,” he declared, emphasizing that the patience of his party and supporters has been exhausted.
The date and specifics of the planned street protests have yet to be announced, but Khan’s call signals a critical juncture for PTI as it prepares to mobilize in response to perceived injustices and threats to democracy in Pakistan.
