ISLAMABAD: For the convenience of overseas Pakistanis, the Ministry of Interior has announced that Pakistani citizens residing in Saudi Arabia can now renew their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) at the NADRA counter at the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh.
As per the details, NICOP, a special identity card issued to Pakistani nationals living abroad, allows them to visit Pakistan without a visa, provided they are citizens of a country that has a dual citizenship arrangement with Pakistan.
The embassy has a fully operational NADRA office offering a comprehensive range of services, including biometric verification of NICOP, CNIC, CRC, FRC, and Succession Certificates. NADRA’s mobile registration team will be available on May 24–25 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. KST.
NICOP Renewal Fee in Saudi Arabia
As of May 2024, the Nadra fee for renewal of NICOP in Saudi Arabia stands at 65 Riyals in normal category. The urgent fee for NICOP is 100 Riyals while the Nadra office in Pakistani mission charges 140 Riyals for executive category.

For passport renewal, Pakistani citizens are advised to bring their old card and passport copy with them when visiting the embassy.
