LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released fast bowler Hasan Ali from the T20I squad ahead of the four-game T20I series against England on Wednesday.
In a press release, PCB said, the team management has decided to let Hasan Ali continue his commitments in county cricket.
Initially, ICC Champions Trophy 2017 star was selected in the Pakistan squad as an injury cover for pacer Haris Rauf.
Pakistan will take on England in the four-match T20I series in Leeds today. Pakistan will land into the middle with confidence as green shirts recently defeated Ireland in a T20I series by 2-1.

Earlier, Pakistan had announced an 18-member squad for the T20I series against Ireland and England, which was told to be reduced to 15 for the World Cup.
Separately, few days back, it was reported that Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf and batter Usman Khan were expected to play the first T20I against England in the upcoming series.
In another development, Gary Kirsten joined the team after his stint with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Gujarat Titans ended. The former South Africa cricketer was announced as Pakistan’s limited-over head coach last month.
