DI KHAN: At least five people, including two policemen,were injured in a blast on a polio vaccination team in Tehsil Kulachi of Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Two cops including a constable, were injured and have been shifted to the district hospital for treatment, and an additional police force has been called in to ensure the safety of the vaccination team.
According to the details, the incident occurred when a roadside exploded near a police van, which was on the way for polio duty.
The police officials said the blast injured the driver of elite forces and a constable whereas a bomb disposal squad reached the spot of the incident and examined the situation.

The Governor expressed concern and regret over the successive attacks on police personnel in Dera Ismail Khan Khan and other districts.
Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur also condemned the attack on Police mobile, injuring two policemen.
The Chief Minister expressed his best wishes for the recovery of the two policemen injured in the firing.CM Gandapur directed the district administration to ensure thetimely provision of medical aid to the injured officials.
