
LAHORE: The Punjab Education Department has set Friday, April 4, as the date for announcing the results of the annual examination for classes one to eight.
The results were usually announced on March 31 annually but were delayed due to the Eid al-Fitr holidays.
In an official announcement, the education department said the results of primary and elementary classes will be declared on Friday and ordered teachers, school heads, and relevant non-teaching staff to assume their duties to facilitate the announcement.
The statement added that special result ceremonies will take place in every government school, where position holders and students will receive awards.
The teachers said they have finalised the results but it will be declared on April 4 due to the Eid holidays.
The students and teacher are having a long holiday for Eidul Fitr 2025 across the province. The holidays, started from March 28, will continue till April 6 with schools scheduled to reopen on April 7.
