`KARACHI: A heartwarming reunion took place when a young girl who had gone missing from Karachi’s ‘Itwar’ Bazaar in Gulistan-e-Jauhar four months ago was finally reunited with her parents.
The girl had gotten separated from her family at the busy Sunday market in December, and despite extensive searches, her family couldn’t locate her. A case was registered at the Gulistan-e-Jauhar Police Station regarding her disappearance.
Fortunately, a kind-hearted family took the girl in and attempted to find her parents for several months. When they couldn’t trace her family, they handed her over to the Edhi Centre in March. The Edhi staff then contacted the girl’s parents and facilitated a successful reunion.
The police were informed by the Edhi Centre about the girl’s presence, and she was safely handed over to her overjoyed family. Authorities have emphasized the importance of parental vigilance in crowded areas to prevent such incidents in the future.
This reunion brings relief and happiness to the family, highlighting the positive impact of community kindness and organizations like Edhi.
