UPS, Batteries rates in Pakistan for summer 2025

KARACHI: As we enter summer, demand for batteries is rising across all major cities in Pakistan. With rising levels of heat and increased demand on power, more families and businesses are turning to battery storage solutions as back up power options.

Battery dealers note the increasing demand in terms of inquiries and sales, with families and businesses upgrading their back–up dinosaur style UPS and inverter systems.

There is a strong demand for batteries in places such as Lahore, Karachi, and, Islamabad, as customers seek a reliable source of back–up power due to constant load shedding.

Energy back–up sector in Pakistan‘s battery market is seeing more demand in part due to an increasing interest in solar setups.

Typically, solar setups use a battery that can be charged during the day when the consumer ultimately uses power directly from the solar setup, and if the excess power from the solar setup is stored within the battery, then can use later on.

Consumers have a range of battery options available on the market, which include lead-acid, tubular, deep cycle, and lithium-ion batteries, which cater to different end–users and budgets.

Battery prices have increased marginally in major cities in Pakistan due to the increasing interest and demand for batteries.
