
ISLAMABAD: In a groundbreaking move, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has launched the Youth Laptop scheme 2025 for students across Pakistan.
The scheme plans to offer 1 lac laptops to students of all colleges and universities registered under the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
This scheme aims to enhance the feasibility of students by providing the latest models of laptops so that the students can get more information about the academic courses. The government has launched distinctive Apps for better access, students can download the app.
Students are requested to submit their application by 20 May 2025.

Valid Student:
Must be a currently enrolled student as of the application submission deadline. -
Valid CNIC/B-Form:
Must have a valid National Identity Card (CNIC) or B-Form. -
Enrolled in Higher Education:
Students must be enrolled in a recognized higher education institution (HEI), including public sector universities, colleges, and affiliated colleges. -
Specific Program Requirements:
- PhD, MS, MPhil, or equivalent 18-year programs.
- 4-year or 5-year bachelor’s degree programs (morning and evening).
- Students from affiliated colleges of public sector universities are generally ineligible.
