ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has halted the live streaming of HBL Pakistan Super League 2025 in India, once again putting politics ahead of cricket, according to Indian media.
The streaming platform FanCode was the official partner for the Broadcasting of HBL PSL 10 in India, which has now been banned from telecasting the matches.
The platform has removed all the related videos of HBL PSL 10 and the highlights of the previous matches as a result of the suspension of live streaming of matches.
The decision follows the terrorist attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOjK) which resulted in the death of 26 individuals.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has yet to issue an official statement regarding this development but the decision has already been criticized by cricketing fans across the world.
