ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) released the much-anticipated CSS 2024 written test results on Monday, indicating a success rate that demonstrates the tight rivalry for Pakistan’s top public jobs.
According to the FPSC, 23,100 individuals applied to the renowned Central Superior Services (CSS) test this year. A total of 15,602 applicants took the written examinations.
Of these, just 395 were certified successful, resulting in an overall success percentage of just 2.53 percent – a rate that, although average for CSS standards, nonetheless hurts for thousands of aspirants.
Candidates who passed the written exam will now proceed to the following steps, which include a psychological evaluation, a physical examination, and an oral interview.
The CSS exam is one of Pakistan’s most difficult professional milestones, frequently regarded as a test not just of knowledge but also of nerves, stamina, and patience.
The result is published on the FPSC website.
