ISLAMABAD: After the Pahalgam attack, the Modi government is in trouble as the Indian public, media, and analysts have raised some serious questions on the attack, while the Indian Government has failed to answer them.
Many of the analysts called it a “false flag” aiming to defame the Muslim community in India, incite hatred against them, and use it for the upcoming Bihar state elections.
Moreover, the Indian media has raised questions in this regard to the Indian Government.
The questions include: How did the terrorists, armed with modern weapons, reach a sensitive area like Pahalgam after covering a distance of 200 kilometers?
How did the Indian intelligence agencies suffer such a major failure? Why was there no proper security arrangement in Pahalgam?
Why has no one been held responsible even after several days of the incident?
Additionally, the Indian public is demanding a transparent answer from the BJP government on social media and other platforms. Several journalists and political analysts say that the Modi government’s silence is raising further doubts.
A senior political analyst said, “The questions of the Indian public and the media are not only legitimate, but Modi will have to answer them. If this was indeed a false flag, then its purpose is very dangerous, which may be related to India’s internal political objectives.”
The Pahalgam incident has once again raised serious questions about the Indian government’s policies, intelligence system and attitudes towards minorities, which it is now becoming inevitable for the Modi government to answer.
