
LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has released a revised schedule for the Matriculation and Intermediate examinations, which were earlier postponed due to the rising tension between Pakistan and India.
According to the new notification, the practical examination for Matriculation students, originally scheduled for May 7, which included Biology, Computer Science, and Food and Nutrition, will now be held on May 17.
Similarly, the practical examinations for Matriculation students, which included Biology, Computer Science, and Arts, scheduled for May 9, will now be held on May 24.
The Intermediate level examination for Tarjumatul-Quran will now be held on May 31 instead of the original scheduled date of May 9.
Meanwhile, the May 7 examination for Islamic Studies and Accounting, which could not be held as per the schedule, has been rescheduled for June 16.
A statement issued by the Controller of Examinations, Lahore Board clarified that no new roll number slips will be issued to students for the revised examination dates. Students are advised to retain and use their existing roll number slips.
The board further confirmed that the previously assigned examination centres will conduct all the postponed examinations as per their original schedule. Students are appealed to strictly follow the latest schedule and appear for their examinations accordingly.
