The FIFA World Cup 2026 match schedule has been released by FIFA, with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, July 19, 2026, in New York, New Jersey. On Thursday, June 11, 2026, the historic Estadio Azteca Mexico City will host the Mexican national team’s inaugural game.
The national teams of the United States and Canada will each play their three group-stage games at home, similar to Mexico. On Friday, June 12, 2026, in Toronto, Canada will begin its campaign; the United States will follow suit in Los Angeles on the same day.

The creative match plan for the event will maximize the number of rest days in between games while minimizing travel for both teams and spectators. The schedule, which was created after extensive consultation with technical directors and coaches of the national teams, will also make it more likely that games will be played in ideal conditions and save supporters’ travel time to see their teams play.
Kickoff times and match pairings will be announced after the FIFA World Cup 26 Final Draw, which is anticipated to happen around the end of 2025.
