Fire breaks out in Margalla hills, Islamabad



ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, a massive fire broke out in Islamabad’s Maragalla Hills protected forest. There were visible flames in Margalla Hills National Park (MHNP), and efforts are being made to put out the fire. Video taken by locals showed rising smoke from Margalla Hills, raising concerns about the preservation of wildlife. Up until the filing of this report, the precise specifics of the damage are not yet known.
