RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry on Tuesday said that India is committing terrorism in Pakistan as a state actor and has so far failed to provide any evidence regarding the Pahalgam attack.
Addressing a press conference, the military spokesperson said that today’s briefing was aimed at showing how India is actively involved in spreading terrorism in Pakistan. He asserted that “India, as a state, is engaged in terrorism,” adding that even after seven days of the Pahalgam incident, New Delhi is yet to back up its allegations with evidence.
Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif revealed that a complete Indian terrorist network has been exposed inside Pakistan.
The press conference came on the same day that the Pakistan Army shot down an Indian quadcopter that violated airspace along the Line of Control (LoC).
The army successfully intercepted and shot down the drone in Bhimber’s Manawar sector, where it was attempting a reconnaissance mission. The ISPR stressed that the armed forces should remain fully alert to counter such hostile acts.
This is a developing story and is being updated with further details.
