
ISLAMABAD: Rain and thunderstorms have been predicted in Islamabad and its surrounding areas, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours; however, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most parts of the country.
In Punjab, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of the province. However, Murree, Galiat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Khushab, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, D.G. Khan, Multan and surrounding areas are likely to remain partly cloudy with rain with strong winds at a few places.
However, Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to remain partly cloudy with rain with thundershowers at a few places.
The weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However, Chitral, Shangla, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Bajaur, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Khyber, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Kohat, Hangu, Waziristan and Kurram are likely to have partly cloudy weather and rain with strong winds at a few places. During this time, moderate to heavy rain/hail is also expected at a few places.
The weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of Balochistan. However, in the afternoon, Barkhan, Kohlu, Zhob, Musakhel, Khuzdar and surrounding areas will have partly cloudy weather and rain with strong winds and thundershowers may occur at a few places. In Sindh, the weather is likely to remain hot and dry in most districts of the province.
