
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Pakistan Super League X (PSL) will continue as per schedule, according to a press release by PCB.
In today’s clash at PSL, Islamabad United is set to take on Quetta Gladiators at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
“The toss will take place at 7.30 pm, with the first ball to be bowled at 8 pm. Tonight’s match sees the return of HBL PSL to Rawalpindi for four matches on 7, 8, 9 and 10 May. Thereafter the final group stage match is scheduled in Multan on 11 May”. The statement reads.
“The Qualifier is set to take place in Rawalpindi on 13 May, while both Eliminators (1 and 2) and Final of the marquee event are to take place on 14, 16, and 18 May, respectively at the Gaddafi Stadium”, the press release said.
Earlier, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Indian strikes have resulted in the death of 26 Pakistanis and 45 injuries.
Addressing a press conference, the military spokesperson stated that a total of 24 impacts have been reported by India, with different weapons, in six cities.
“Based on initial damage assessment, in these six localities, eight Pakistanis have been killed, 35 have been injured, and two are missing,” he maintained.
He further said that the Indian forces targeted civilian areas, including mosques and healthcare facilities.
DG ISPR added that a mosque, Masjid-e-Abbas, was destroyed in Kotli, and another mosque in Muridke was hit, resulting in the death of one person and injury to another.
