Junaid Safdar’s wedding festivities kicked off with the Mehndi event last night at Jati Umra, where the families of Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, and Safdar Awan gathered. Junaid Safdar is set to marry Shanzay Ali Rohail, the granddaughter of Nawaz Sharif’s friend and senior politician Sheikh Rohail Asghar. The wedding has become the talk of the town, with media and social media platforms sharing glimpses of the bride and groom’s stunning looks.
Shanzay Ali Rohail’s breathtaking Mehndi look grabbed public attention. She wore a beautiful emerald green and multicoloured lehenga by renowned Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The heavily embellished, multi-panelled lehenga was paired with a choli. The dress was richly adorned with zardozi, dabka, gota patti, and sequins. A tea-pink net dupatta was draped over one shoulder. Shanzay accessorized with elegant kundan and polki jewellery, styled her hair in a sleek bun, and opted for flawless, peach-toned glowy makeup—perfectly complementing her overall look. Sabyasachi does not use physical price tags on their pieces; instead, they use ‘Price on Request’ (POR) or provide pricing via private consultation. However, similar heavily embroidered, multi-colored patchwork lehengas from the 2023-2024 ‘New India’ collection were priced between ₹9,95,000 and ₹12,50,000, based on data from 2023 and 2024.
