Around nine government officials tendered resignations a day after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Ali Amin Gandapur assumed office as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), sources said on Tuesday.
As per sources privy to the development, the Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Javed was one of nine officials who forwarded their resignation letter to CM Gandapur.
In addition to Advocate General KP, eight additional advocates have resigned from their roles.

According to sources, all nine officials have submitted resignation letters to the newly elected chief minister of KP, who has yet to make a decision.
The officers who resigned were Danial Khan Chamkani, Nisar, Saqib, Asif, Umar Farooq, Sultan, Mubashir, and Javed Akhtar.
On March 2, PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur took oath as Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in a ceremony held at the Governor’s House in Peshawar.
Governor Haji Ghulam Ali administered the oath to the newly elected Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. Senior PTI leaders including Azam Swati, Babar Awan, MPAs, and senior officers participated in the swearing-in ceremony.
