BRUSSELS: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has arrived in Belgium today to attend the First Nuclear Energy Summit, scheduled to be held in Brussels on 21 March 2024.

FM Dar was received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belgium Amna Baloch upon his arrival in Brussels to attend the 1st Nuclear Energy Summit at the joint invitation of Prime Minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo and Director GeneralInternational Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Office press release, besides participating in the Summit, Foreign Minister Dar will hold bilateral meetings with leaders and foreign ministers of participating countries.

The Foreign Minister’s participation in the Summit will contribute to further strengthening Pakistan’s collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and developing a shared perspective on peaceful uses of nuclear energy, the statement reads.
