DUBAI: In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), every citizen and resident, including Pakistani nationals, must obtain an Emirates ID card from the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security-ICP.

This card allows people to access government services, and not having it can lead to legal problems.

Where to Apply for New Emirates ID card; Check details

All citizens and residents of the UAE and GCC countries, as well as expatriates such as Pakistanis, are eligible to apply for Emirates ID through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security-ICP, or an approved Need to go to a completed typing center.

The card may also require some applicants to visit an ICP service center to provide their biometric information.

  • Valid passport.

In April 2024, here are the fees you’ll need to pay to get a new Emirates ID card in the UAE:

  • AED 100 (varies based on the duration): Fee for issuing the card for five years.
  • AED 150: Service fee.
  • AED 30: Typing center fee.
  • AED 150: Additional fee for urgent service, available at customer happiness centers.
