The countrywide weather forecast for Tuesday calls for a mix of conditions, with a majority of the plains experiencing dry intervals interspersed with showers and thunderstorms in some areas.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts, residents in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan may wake up to additional rain and thunder in the morning. Meanwhile, southwest Balochistan anticipates a night-time drenching, with strong winds and thundershowers likely to make an appearance in some areas. The possibility of rain or sleet also looms.

Area by area, expect partly overcast sky in Islamabad, and the surrounding districts. Similarly, Punjab will mostly have dry weather, while there may be some cloud cover in Murree, Galyat, and Gar.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa braces for a wet start, with Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, and Malakand forecasted to receive more rain alongside robust winds and thunderous showers in the morning.

In contrast, Sindh’s districts should expect partly cloudy and primarily dry weather.

Balochistan residents can expect dry and partly cloudy conditions in most areas, although Chagai, Washuk, Kech, Panjgur, and Gwadar may encounter rainfall during the night.

Expect heavy rain, strong gusts, and thundershowers in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Light snowfall is expected over the mountains.  Stay weather-aware and prepared for the varied conditions across the nation.
