LAHORE: Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Amara Athar has instructed concerned officials to impose heavy fines on motorcyclists without helmets.
She underscored that a Rs2,000 challan willÂbe imposed on bike riders for not wearing helmets in the provincial capital.

CTO Lahore highlighted thatÂno one will be tolerated to ride motorcycles in Lahore without a safety helmet. From todayÂmotorcyclists will not be allowed to use Mall Road and other major roads, she added.
Lahore’s top traffic cop said a crackdown willÂbe launched on various roads, including CanalÂRoad, andÂJail Road, against those who found riding bikes without helmets.
