Sheikhupura: President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Shahbaz Sharif, delivered a passionate address during an electoral rally in the Farooqabad area of Sheikhupura, emphasizing the pivotal role of the youth in shaping the nation’s destiny.
Speaking at the gathering despite the chilly weather, Shahbaz Sharif extended heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception. He clarified that there will be no general elections on February 8, asserting that the youth will play a crucial role in bringing about positive changes in the country.
Shahbaz Sharif highlighted the need to eradicate poverty and unemployment from the country, urging the youth to scrutinize leaders before casting their votes. He emphasized that millions of young people are the real wealth of the nation, and their participation in the electoral process is essential to bring about positive change.
The former Prime Minister reminisced about the load shedding crisis of 2013, recalling that under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, the issue was effectively addressed, resulting in the elimination of unemployment. He credited Nawaz Sharif for providing laptops to the youth, countering terrorism, and improving the country’s infrastructure.
Shahbaz Sharif questioned the timing of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Amendment) Act brought by Amit Shah and Narendra Modi, suggesting a potential foreknowledge within the Indian government regarding the outcome of the Indian Supreme Court’s decision.

Addressing the youth, Shahbaz Sharif stated that they are the capital of the nation and have the power to transform the destiny of Pakistan. He lauded Nawaz Sharif’s initiatives, such as providing free medical treatment in hospitals and establishing a state-of-the-art kidney transplant hospital in Lahore.
Regarding the tragic incident of May 9, Shahbaz Sharif expressed his condolences and acknowledged the sacrifices made by the children and loved ones of the martyrs. He urged the youth to consider the achievements of neighboring countries and emphasized the need to make informed decisions on who the true architects of the nation are.
Shahbaz Sharif concluded by affirming that the 76-year-old legacy of the PML-N is still strong, and the responsibility of holding the nation’s destiny lies in their hands. He urged the youth to participate actively in the decision-making process on February 8 and choose leaders who are sincere and committed to the welfare of the country.
