On Saturday night, Qalandars were defeated by Kings in a last-ball contest. The medical panel determined, following consultations, that Haris Rauf would require four to six weeks to rehabilitate from the injury. Consequently, he will be absent from the remaining PSL Season 9 matches.
Lahore Qalandars Skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi grieved Rauf’s injury, which will prevent him from playing for the remainder of the season, stating that he has been an important player of the team.
“As a team, we are deeply saddened by Haris Rauf’s injury. It was painful to see him missing out as he’s been a pillar of strength for us, and his absence will be felt. In the face of adversity, we stand united, and I have full confidence that the team will rise to the occasion,” Shaheen said on Rauf’s injury.
