Lahore: The Punjab Job Centre, a collaborative effort between the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Labor & Human Resource Department (L&HRD) has made significant strides since its inception in August 2022, enrolling over 300,000 job seekers and 60,000 employers.
During a recent progress review meeting chaired by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf, it was revealed that the Job Centre has emerged as a crucial link between job seekers and employers in Punjab. By facilitating connections between a vast pool of employers from both public and private sectors and potential candidates, the initiative has played a pivotal role in addressing employment needs.
Chairman Faisal Yousaf highlighted the importance of the Job Centre in guiding and supporting youth towards meaningful employment opportunities. He emphasized that the initiative not only benefits industrialists but also empowers employers by providing access to a diverse pool of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled human capital.
Accessible through the online portal jobcenter.punjab.gov.pk, the Job Centre hosts a comprehensive database encompassing various human capital categories. From skilled professionals to semi-skilled and unskilled individuals, the platform caters to the diverse needs of both job seekers and employers.
To register on the platform, individuals can visit the website or receive a registration link by sending their CNIC number to 8900. Both business owners and citizen workers are encouraged to utilize the platform to explore employment opportunities and fill job positions in the public and private sectors.
