Former caretaker chief minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi reportedly left Pakistan for Dubai on Wednesday for a family vacation, according to media sources.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Naqvi and his family embarked on a journey to Dubai the day after he left the chief minister’s office after leading the interim setup in Punjab for over a year.
Newly elected Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz assumed office on February 26 after the opposition boycotted polling in Punjab Assembly.
PML-N’s Chief Organizer Maryam was elected with 220 votes as the opposition parties, led by the Sunni Ittehad Council, boycotted the proceedings.

As per sources privy to the information, the former caretaker chief minister had missed spending time with his family during his time in office that’s the reason he left for vacation.
On January 22, 2023, Mohsinj Naqvi assumed the role of interim chief minister of Punjab after a unanimous decision by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to designate him for the position.
