In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s hilly districts, widespread rains and heavy snowfall have flooded roads and destroyed infrastructure, hindering rescue efforts to reach people buried behind debris.
According to reports in the local media, the province capital Peshawar and certain areas of KP experienced torrential rain and snowfall due to changing meteorological conditions, resulting in at least six fatalities and multiple injuries. A small boy perished in Peshawar’s Badaber town as a result of a collapsing roof, according to reports from the Lower Kohistan region.

After heavy rain, several people on KKH near Kohistan were injured and fell into a ravine. As a result of the region’s two days of intense rainfall, transportation from Lower to Upper Kohistan was still unable to travel on the Karakoram Highway.

A lot of snow fell in a number of steep places, including Nathiagali, Kaghan Valley, Shogran, Konsh Valley, Siran Valley in Mansehra, Kandia Valley, and Spat Valley in Kohistan. Snowfall was also experienced in Shangla, Swat, and other areas; Malam Jabba was completely covered in snow.
