LAHORE: The formation of cabinets in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab came to an end on Wednesday (today), when the provincial governments were getting ready to accredit their respective cabinets. The cabinets of the governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were finalized after the general election on February 8.

Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rahman will preside over the oath-taking ceremony for the Punjab Cabinet, which is scheduled to begin at 4 PM today at the Governor’s House. Punjabi Chief Minister and Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz, unveiled her cabinet.
Fifteen ministers in Punjab will be sworn in during the first phase, with special attention to important ministries.
