QUETTA: The Balochistan administration on Thursday announced the Quetta provincial capital’s office hours, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. As to the published notification, government offices will have regular office hours from 9 AM to 3 PM, which would enable workers to finish their work by early afternoon. On Friday, however, office hours will be further shortened from 9 AM to 1 PM.

The new Ramadan hours for offices that are open six days a week will be 9 AM to 2 PM on regular days; however, on Fridays, these offices will close earlier, at 12:00 PM.
The purpose of this change is to make room for the religious rituals and observances that take place during the holy month. Additional technical assistance will come from the Ministry of Science and Technology.
