According to Chairman LPG Association Irfan Khokhar, a nexus of LPG quota holders and importers has unjustifiably increased the price of LPG by Rs 30 per kg for the second time in a week without OGRA notification. The official price is 257 rupees per kg while it is sold at 310 rupees per kg in other cities including Lahore and 360 rupees in hilly areas.
He said that after the price increase, domestic cylinders are being sold at Rs 3700 instead of Rs 3030. Ogra, LPG distributors, and shopkeepers are helpless in front of the gas mafia.
