Lahore: From March 11 to March 13, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts significant rain, wind, and thunderstorms with intermittent hailstorms for Lahore and parts of Punjab.
A westerly wave is expected to approach Balochistan on March 9 (Saturday) and make its way to the upper areas of Pakistan by March 11 (Monday) based on the present synoptic circumstances. On March 12 (Tuesday), another westerly wave is predicted to reach Pakistan.
In light of these conditions, Murree, Galyat, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, and Bhakkar are expected to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms from March 11 (evening/night) to March 14. On March 13, there’s also a chance of isolated hailstorms in Multan, Kot Addu, Layyah, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar.

On March 13 and 14, there may be road closures in Murree and Galyat due to heavy rain and sporadic heavy snowfall.
