It is important to note that Chinese troops will be taking part in the Pakistan Day Parade for the second time. They participated in the event as well earlier in 2017. In the past, military forces from a number of other nations, including Saudi Arabia, have also taken part in the event.

Last month saw the start of the Pakistan Day Joint Services Parade preparations. Previously, in order to obtain lists of officials by February 15 who will be invited to the Pakistan Day Parade, the Ministry of Defence had already issued letters to the chief secretaries, ministries, and divisions of the four provinces, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Leading figures from the armed forces and administration, as well as international officials, attend the function. Additionally, a sizable portion of the general population attends the procession in addition to participating.
