LAHORE: Panda Mart and around twelve other establishments in Lahore were closed down by the Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) for violating parking regulations.
The operation, conducted in Johar Town, was overseen by the Director of Enforcement TEPA, with support from the police and heavy machinery.
The sealed properties comprised well-known shops, eateries, bakeries, and private hospitals. Prior to the operation, the owners of these buildings had been issued several notices by Lahore Development Authority (LDA) officials.
Tahir Farooq, the Director General of LDA, has instructed to continue crackdowns on illegal signboards across the provincial capital.
