KARACHI: Muslims around the world, including Pakistan, are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr after the fasts of Ramadan. In Pakistan, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to be on April 10.
According to scientific observations, the Shawwal moon is likely to be seen on the 29th of Ramadan this year, but the final decision regarding Eid-ul-Fitr will be made by the Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee.
A public holiday is declared by the government in schools, colleges, universities, offices, and markets across the country to celebrate Eid.
The federal and provincial governments, including Sindh, have not yet issued notifications of public holidays in schools, but it is expected that if Eid falls on April 10, educational institutions will remain closed from April 9 to April 14.

If 30 fasts are observed, Sindh schools will have holidays from April 10 to April 14, as Eid will be on April 11.
Therefore, 5 to 6 holidays are expected in the schools of Sindh province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
