ISLAMABAD: In a proactive move towards bolstering Pakistan’s international standing and fostering economic collaborations, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar met with Pakistan’s Ambassadors in the United States and the United Kingdom, urging them to identify new avenues for the country’s economic engagements on the global stage.
During the meeting with Ambassador Masood Khan in the US and Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Faisal in the UK, Prime Minister Kakar emphasized the significance of constant advocacy for the Kashmir cause and reiterated Pakistan’s stance on the Palestine issue. The envoys briefed the prime minister on the performance of their respective missions, receiving further instructions on Pakistan’s foreign policy.

Prime Minister Kakar directed the envoys to actively promote road shows aimed at attracting foreign investment for projects initiated under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Recognizing overseas Pakistanis as a national asset, Prime Minister Kakar urged the envoys to prioritize addressing the challenges faced by expatriates and to encourage them to invest their capital back into Pakistan.
