The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is investigating a case of alleged corruption in development projects in Jheum, his NA constituency from where he was elected in 2018.
Fawad Chaudhry is imprisoned in Adiala Jail on judicial remand in the NAB case. However, his release is not likely as he is also under arrest in multiple other cases.
