The Rajasthan Royals secured their third consecutive victory in this season’s IPL by defeating the Mumbai Indians with a six-wicket win.
Opting to bowl first, Rajasthan restricted Mumbai to 125/9 and comfortably chased down the target with 27 balls to spare. Riyan Parag shone with an unbeaten 54 off 39 balls.
Mumbai had a rough start to their innings, falling to 20/4 in just four overs. MI skipper Hardik Pandya answered with a rapid 34 off 21 balls, helped by Tilak Varma’s 32 off 29 deliveries, despite the strain.
Yuzvendra Chahal impressed with figures of 3/11, including the vital wicket of Pandya, while Trent Boult took 3/22. Mumbai have now lost three games in a row.
