A seven-member Supreme Court bench will begin suo motu proceedings in response to a complaint from Islamabad High Court members accusing intelligence agencies of interfering.
Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa will preside over the bench, which also includes Justices Jamal Mandokhail, Yahya Afridi, Yasser Mansoor Ali Shah, Athar Minallah, Musarrat Hilali, and Naeem Afghan.

We anticipate that the hearing will start at 11:30 a.m.
Former Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani declined to lead a government-appointed judicial commission, leading to the bench’s formation on Monday.
Six judges of the Islamabad High Court have demanded that a judicial convention be summoned over the alleged interference of intelligence agencies in the judiciary.
The chief justice did, however, meet with the prime minister after a full court reference in the SC and requested the formation of a judicial panel in its place.
